Swarovski Splendor

One of my newest jewelry creations is a Swarovski baroque drop necklace – a spectacular and stunning semi-dressy to formal necklace featuring 25 breathtaking Swarovski 16x11mm baroque drop crystal elements in Aquamarine and Crystal Aurora Borealis, as well as 24 gorgeous Swarovski Capri Blue Xilion bicone beads.   I designed and created this necklace to be impressive for the person wearing it.  I’m confident that the compliments will flow freely!  It has already been called “breathtaking” by the ladies in my family and while I’ve sold many of my pieces to family and given some as gifts, I created this to be purchased by someone special who is unknown to me.  I created this necklace to complement and enhance one’s already existing beauty, so that it’s new, future owner will look even more stunning. The construction of the necklace begins with a strong and sturdy silver finished steel chain which is 17-inches in length.  On one end is a Darice by Tori Spelling rhinestone studded clasp and the other end bears a silver plated closed loop.  I’ve added an extender which is 3-inches, ending with a 10mm smooth, round Sterling Silver bead, followed by a 4mm smooth, round Sterling Silver bead.

Every crystal element which hangs from the chain has been attached with 10mm, 18 gauge silver plated brass twist jump rings. The Swarovski 6mm Capri Blue Xilion bicone beads have been added with 22 gauge silver filled headpins that have been curled into a loop and twisted in a downward spiral.  At the central bottom portion of the necklace is a Swarovski Aquamarine 22x15mm baroque drop pendant that is preceded by the 6mm Capri Blue Xilion bicones, as well as 8mm Clear Crystal Modified Bicones, a couple which feature a 4mm round, smooth sterling silver bead on the end.
