So you’ve seen all kinds of jewelry posts from me, but you may be wondering…what about the “supplies” part of Markalino Jewelry and Supplies? Well, that may because I do focus mainly on jewelry, but I figured that I should give supplies their day in the sun.
Beads and Supplies are detrimental to a jewelry artist’s next creation. Just seeing certain supplies can spark an idea for the next great piece! As many of us jewelry artists are aware, shopping for beads and supplies can become habit forming, especially when they can be found at a reasonable price. That’s one thing that I stand behind is providing beautiful jewelry making supplies while still keeping the price reasonable. After all, handmade jewelry is priced partially according how much the materials cost the artist and if the supplies are too high a price, it drives up the price of the jewelry.

A mixed lot of 103 gemstone, semi-precious, Swarovski crystal, Czech crystal, metal, glass and aluminum nugget beads. Stones include Tiger Eye nuggets, Jet Jubes, black onyx, large Turquoise Howlite, Bronzite, Smoky Quartz, fuchsia Malaysian Jade, Aqua Jade, red Bamboo Coral, simulated Malachite, black and white Agate and purple Crazy Lace Agate. Several Swarovski crystal bicones and rounds and a good number of Czech crystal rondelles. Also a few glass beads and metal beads.
Thirteen beautiful picture jasper semi-precious stone nugget beads, which are 14 to 18mm in size and have a 1.75mm vertical drill hole. Each nugget has been embellished with Swarovski SS20 (5mm) flat back crystals in Light Colorado Topaz. The stones are absolutely gorgeous with exquisite coloring which compliments well with the crystals.
A 31″ mixed gemstone chip strand with chips ranging from 4mm to 10mm in size. Included on the strand are Amazonite, Amethyst, Aventurine, Baltic Amber, Black Jasper, Blue Coral, Blue Goldstone, Citrine, Malachite, Orange Quartzite, Picasso Jasper, Picture Jasper, Pink Quartzite, Quartz Crystal, Red Bamboo Coral, Rose Quartz, Zebra Jasper
Four beautiful handmade jewelry connectors featuring 15mm to 17mm Green Aventurine Gemstone Nuggets. I handcrafted these connectors using 20 gauge lead and nickel free rose gold plated brass head pins and corrugated bead caps of the same material. I then created a 3mm loop at each end.
Six breathtaking handmade jewelry connectors featuring 12mm round Smoky Quartz beads. I handcrafted these connectors using 20 gauge lead and nickel free rose gold plated brass head pins and corrugated bead caps of the same material. I then created a 3mm loop at each end.
One handmade antiqued gold pendant featuring a 10mm Aquamarine gemstone nugget and a 6mm clear Swarovski crystal bicone, separated by an antiqued gold plated brass corrugated bead. I handcrafted this pendant using a 21 gauge gold plated brass head pin, where I created a loop and curled it around itself to meet the top of the crystal. I then added a 10mm antiqued gold plated brass jump ring.
Two beautiful Sterling Silver charms featuring very high quality Swarovski 8mm Round Faceted Light Azore crystals. I handcrafted these charms using 22 gauge Sterling Silver head pins. Each crystal has been topped with a 5mm Sterling Silver flower bead cap. They are approximately 18mm and 20mm in length.
Custom, Made-to-Order Swarovski 6mm Xilion Bicone Crystal Charms in any color with a variety of metals to choose from. Each crystal is handmade by me and I use a head pin, which I loop at the top and curl around to the top of the crystal.
Six handmade silver plated charms featuring Swarovski 5601 6mm Mocca Faceted Crystal Cube Beads. I handcrafted these charms using a silver plated brass head pin, which I looped and then curled around to the top of the crystal cube bead. Each charm is approximately 15mm long. The color of the cubes is a rich, dark chocolate brown.
